Juan E Garcia

Juan Eledo Garcia, Jr.-77 a resident of Hernandez passed away on Thursday August 12, 2010 after a lengthy illness.

Eledo and Pauline moved to Los Angeles, CA soon after their marriage. Eledo worked 37 Years for McDonald Douglas Aircraft and retiring in 1991. Shortly after, they moved to Hernandez, New Mexico in 1994.

Mr. Garcia is preceded in death by his parents Eledo and Cornelia Garcia, sister Clara Sanchez, brother Eloy Garcia, also his in-laws Alfredo and Antonia Salazar. Juan was survived by his loving wife Pauline Salazar of 59 years, son Walter Garcia (Patricia), daughter Frances Espinoza (Robert), eight grandsons: Callan (Tamara), Tim Eledo, Drew, Garrett Garcia, Robert Jr., Richardo, Alex, and Andrew Espinoza, Great grandchildren: Asa, Teresita, and Eden Joy, three sisters Lucy Salazar, Francine Warren, and Marie Cravens, sisters-in-law Rosalie Shane, Lucy Serna, and Connie Rodriguez, Tiva Roybal, Elivira, Tessie, Nora, and Helen Salazar, godsons: Mike Herrera, Rudy Salazar and Deno Rubi.

A Rosary will be recited on Monday August 16, 2010 at 7:00pm at the San Jose Catholic Church in Hernandez. Funeral Mass will take place on Tusday August 17th at 11:00am also at the San Jose Catholic Church in Hernandez with interment following.Serving as pallbears are his eight Grandsons. Honorary pallbears: Ruben, Gilbert and Rudy Salazar, Charlie Shane, Orlando Serna, and Eddie Rodriguez.
