Elizabeth Padilla published a tribute .

The world has lost a great lady and dear friend, who was kind to all who knew her. She was my neighbor for 10 years on Paseo de la Conquistadora. We would visit each other several times a week. Since moving to Kansas City, I have missed her so much and was always hoping to get back down to Santa Fe to see her, which I did in 2008. The opportunity never came again. Although we still talked on the phone, it was no substitute for being able to run up the street to see her. I feel privileged to have gotten to know this sweet lady. I know she is now in the loving care of the creator. I will treasure the memories of our friendship forever.
