SAMUEL KOVAC III

Age 52, of Santa Fe, passed away November 26, 2012. He was born in Dallas, TX on August 6, 1960 to Leslie Brydon and Samuel Kovac II. He married Janet B. Taylor on March 19, 2004. He is preceded in death by his mother.
Samuel is survived by his wife Janet B. Taylor; father Samuel Kovac; brother Scott Kovac; nephews: Andrew Kovac (Melissa) and Mason Kovac; children: Samuel Kovac IV (Beverly Gallegos), Aaron Kovac, Maegan Martinez (Gabriel); step children: Zach Taylor (Mara Bruton), Jamie Taylor (Jackson Ault); grandchildren: Mariah Duran, Marcus Romero, Anthony Corriz, Xavier Kovac, Alyah Kovac, Devin Martinez, Carmen Marquez, Aiden Martinez, Aiden Taylor-Ault, Isabelle Taylor-Ault, and Bria Taylor.

Sam was a well respected man who was very loved by his children, grandchildren, extended family and friends. He was a journeyman electrician and a mentor to many other up and coming electricians. He always had a smile on his face at work and would laugh out loud at jokes he was telling himself. His unique sense of humor was appreciated by all.

He was an avid Chicago Cubs fan win or lose, as well as a Nascar fan. He enjoyed going to baseball spring training in Scottsdale, Arizona for the last four years to see the Chicago Cubs. In his spare time Sam enjoyed fishing at the Pecos River and was thrilled every time he caught a trout. He also enjoyed making jewelry and collecting baseball cards.

Sam was the love of Janet's life and she will always cherish the time they had together. He will always be loved, and never forgotten.

The Memorial Service was held on December 8th at 3:00 P.M at the Nancy Rodriquez Community Center on Caja Del Oro Grant Road (County Rd. 62).

Sam was a dear friend and a close neighbor of mine in Keller, TX. He was always quick witted, sweet and respectful. He was a good man--gone too soon.
