I honestly didn't know Rich well, but he has been a part of my life for many years through music and friends. What I can say is that every time I saw him, no matter what his day was like, he had a huge smile on his face. It is clear that he was loved immensely and left an imprint in everyone's hearts. It was an honor to know Rich. I never had spent any time with him outside of work but from what I have read and heard he played with as much emphasis as he worked. My prayers to all of the family and friends.

This amazing person brought so much more into the world than he took. It's so rare to find someone as selfless as Rich has been. He was the soul of Last Call. I'll never forget the times jamming with him in his garage until 3 in the a.m. He just had this ability to pour his soul out for every song he sung. So much soul. Such an amazing honorable, soulful, selfless, fun, supportive friend. My world is darker with him gone. Love you Rich.

You were the person I hung out with the most for the last 15 years. I so enjoyed the laughs we shared as well as the music we played. Every day I looked forward to hanging out with you. Rich always had a smile for everyone. I never met him when his face wasn't dressed up with a grin. Only had the pleasure of hearing him play once. It was Chris Ross and Rich and I don't know the other guys but they were awesome, not great acoustics at the Canyon, so... Rest in peace, Rich. The legacy you leave behind is amazing. I probably worked with Rich since he started at LANL. He was one of those people who you saw and couldn't help but smile. He even brought joy to tedious LANL meetings! He was one of the good guys. I am so sorry for your tragic loss.
