Richard Engleson

RICHARD (DICK) WILLIAM ENGLESON April 8, 2017 Richard (Dick) William Engleson passed away after the onset of a sudden illness at age 65. He was the son of the late David and Marguerite Engleson of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin and is survived by his sons Ezra Engleson of Carlsbad, NM, Isaac Engleson of Santa Fe, NM, his siblings Catherine (Matthew, John, Lindsey, Lucas) Christine, and Michael and wife Kari (Kallan) of Dane County, Wisconsin. He played basketball as a youth in West Allis, Wisconsin and continued to be active in sports in his adult years believing that sports offered pleasure and important life lessons. He moved to Santa Fe in 1977 because of the natural beauty and the people. He loved being a dad, and coaching Little League and supporting his sons in all their interests. He was a respected house painter known for skill and attention to detail. Dick was plain spoken, honest, hardworking man with a unique sense of humor. He will be missed by many.
