PELAGIO MODESTO ARAGON

Age 92 of Santa Fe, died September 7, 2009, after a long illness. He was born in Anton Chico, NM, married and lived in Tesuque, NM, served in the U.S. Army and worked for the State of New Mexico until he retired.
He was a member of the Union Protectiva de Santa Fe.
He is preceded in death by his wife Bernardita; parents Abelino and Agueda Aragon; sister, Consuelo; brothers, Lamberto, Luciano and Rubel.
He is survived by daughter, Yvonne and husband Nick Apodaca; daughter, Consuelo and husband Herbert Hibbs; son, Roberto and wife Ramona; 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A rosary will be held on Sunday, September 13, at 7:00 pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Burial mass will be held on Monday, September 14, 2009 at 10:00am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church followed by interment at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
