I only knew Nick from the Taos Spa, where we often swam together in the indoor pool. He was so sweet and kind, and always seemed so glad to see me. We had fun doing a sort of water "ballet", because I swam the length of the pool and he walked the width. We always made it work, and I loved having his gentle warmth there with me as I did my laps. Im so sorry I didnt get a chance to know him better, and am very sorry for your loss. I know he was beloved by many many people.

I only knew Nick from the spa. I saw him there regularly, and we always spoke and greeted each other. Our brief interactions were always pleasant, and frequently interesting, as he reminisced and reflected on his long life in this area. I did not know him well, but I was struck by what seemed to be a great warmth and depth of heart.
