Nicanor A. Montoya

Nick A Montoya, 98, of Taos passed away on March 10, 2012 in Taos. He was a PostMaster for the United States Postal Service for many years. He was preceded in death by parents Tranquilino and Adela Montoya, brothers Jim, Gus and Teodoro Montoya, sisters Mary Cohn, Evangeline Montoya, Angelica Montoya, and Dolores Wells.
He is survived by children Mary Florence Bramanti, Armando Montoya, Edward Montoya, 4 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and brother Orlando Montoya. He is also survived by special nephews, Dominic, Derrick, and Damian Montoya and numerous relatives and friends. Arrangements for cremation are being made, there will be no public viewing or visitation. The Recitation of the Rosary will be held on Saturday Morning at 9:00 a.m. at Our of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Taos, with The Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated immediately afterwards at 10:00 a.m.
