Mary Valencia

Mary Eduvigen Valencia, 92, of Santa Fe, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2009 due to a short illness.

She is preceded in death by husband, Alejandro Valencia, her mother and father, Donaciana and Eugenio Martinez, sons, Raul Valencia, Rudy Valencia, , 2 sons-in-law, Marty Brito and Billie Eyman, sisters, Frances Romero, and Bernardita Lucero.

Mary was born in Glorieta, on July 28, 1916. She was the best mom, grandma, great-grandma, and sister. She has come to her new life to be with the Lord. She was very strong in faith and had a personal relationship with the Lord. She will be missed but never forgotten.

She is survived by Rose Martinez (Louis), Ray R. Valencia, Roberta Eyman of Chama, Jeanie Aguilar (Ruben) of El Valle, Margie Lowe (Glen), Granddaughters and Pallbearers; Brenda, Belinda, Beverly, Billie Jean, Rachel, Jeanette, Stephanie, Denise, Rebecca, Audrey, Lisa, grandsons, Louie, Pat, John, Arthur, Richard, Alex, Marty, and Raul. Mary is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren.

A Rosary will be recited at 7:00pm Thursday, March 5, 2009 at St. Anne Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00am Friday, March 6, 2009 at St. Anne Church. Burial will follow at Rosario.
