Mary Gene Hamiltion

Mary Gene Hamilton, age 90, a resident of Glorieta, NM has passed of natural causes on January 12, 2017. She was born May 24, 1926 in Washington County, Ohio to parents Clyde and Catherine Warren. She is preceded in death by her husband Charles and their son William Hamilton. She is survived by her daughter Catherine and son David Hamilton. Charles and Mary were married on June 8, 1956 where later Mary received her bachelor of science from Murray State College and taught elementary school in Ohio. The family moved to Espanola in 1964 and along with raising her three children she was active in Santa Fe County Extension and the Espanola Valley Women’s Club. In 1996 she moved to Glorieta to live with her son David and daughter in law Anna. She died peacefully at home. Please join the family in the celebration of Mary Gene and Charles on Monday January 23, 2017 for a viewing at 11:00 am at the Kiva Chapel at Rivera Family Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 12:00. Burial will take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30pm.
