Biography

Margaret S. Martinez, 78, of Taos Pueblo passed away on October 14, 2008. She was a very special mother and loving grandmother, a true solid friend to all. She loved her homes in Taos and Laguna. She is survived by her husband, Phillip Martinez Sr., children, Phillip Martinez Jr., Cameron Martinez (Alice), Patrick Martinez, Phyllis Martinez, Robert Martinez (Penny), Darlene Martinez (Larry), Marlene Walkowski (Todd), grandchildren she raised, Angelo, Shannon, Victoria and Fallon, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, sisters, Catherine Sousea and Bernadette Yewea, many other relatives.

She will be buried at her home in the village of Paguate.

Dear Nia and Martinez Family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I think of you often and hope peace is with you. Margaret was such a special loving grandmother and I will always remember her devotion to her family. Nia, You are so blessed to have had your Grandma. I hope you always remember her love in your heart.

you were just like my mother as well always welcoming me into your home for feast fit for a king you were the best anyone could wish for I am sad to see you leave us but I know you are truly with the angels cause you were always my angel I love you margaret and may god love and keep you always. Angelo you are also in my prayers and in my thoughts I was unaware of grandmas passing and it pains me to think how hard this is for you
