To Minnie and the entire family
Jim and I are so sorry to hear of Mr. Mel's passing. Unfortunately, we received the news late and so were not able to attend the funeral Mass and burial. I did sing for a Memorial Mass at San Juan Parish a few days after the funeral. We will be in touch soon.

Melene - I am so sorry to hear about your dad. My deepest sympathies. Haven't seen you in years, but I do still think about you. I am in ABQ now. Again, I am so sorry and please give your mom my sympathies too.

It is a sad thought for me to think of Mel's passing. I remember him as an athlete, and a big kid that was my protector and I always would ride my tricycle to say HI to him. I remember when he married pretty Minnie, and the wedding march thru Cordova.

I have the fondest memories of Uncle Mel. I remember him trying to teach me how to ride a horse...very patient and kind!!

Minnie, Please accept our condolences. I loved Mel, he and Tony were my favorite cousins. It's too bad we didn't see each other more often, but he knew how much we cared about each other. We always talked about Mel's father Juan Manuel and my grandpa Jose Elijio being so different for being brothers. Our love to you and your children.
