Juan Gonzales

Juan Manjo Gonzales 80, of Taos passed away on Sunday June 12, 2011 after a short illness at the Veterans Hospital in Albuquerque. He was an Army Veteran and a long time bus driver in Taos and surrounding areas. He is preceded in death by his parents Crespin and Genevive Gonzales, brothers Albert, Fred and Arturo Gonzales, sisters Lena DeVargas, Viola Baca, Eliza Gonzales, and grandson Aaron Coca. Juan is survived by son, Johnny (Nadine) Gonzales, daughters Ruby (Tommy) Gonzales, and Shirley (Waldy) Mondragon, grandchildren Joaquin Gonzales, Felicia and Joshua Mondragon, sister, Frances Santistevan (Henry). He is also survived by long time friend and companion Rafelita Santistevan, and mother of his children Josie.

Prayer service was held on June 14, 2011. Memorial Service was held on June 15, 2011. Both services were held at Rivera Chapel. Internment was held at the Santa Fe National Cemetery with Military honors.
