Jose Nabor Baca
Jose Nabor Baca, age 85, has passed on February 11, 2017 of a sudden illness. He was born in 1931 on March 9th in Santa Fe, New Mexico and lived in the Village of Agua Fria. He is preceded in death by his parents Aurora and Lorenzo Baca, his brothers Joe, Horacio and Hendry Silva, his granddaughter Jennifer Martinez, and companion Irene Villas. He is survived by his former wife Sally Baca, his sons and daughters Michael, Martin, Gilbert and Rosalba, Angela and Ken, stepson Bobby Villas and Tina, his grandchildren Erica, Ariel, Phillip, Christopher, his great grandchildren as well as his God son Joseph Baca. Jose was a veteran and served in the Korean War, and for the remainder of his life he was self-employed. The pall bearers are Joe Angelo Baca, Joseph Baca, Patrick Baca, Bobby Villas, Henry Romero, and Ken Barela. The Honorary Pallbearers are Billy Joe and Joe Hernandez.
Please join the family on Monday, February 20, 2017 for the rosary that begins at 6:00pm at the San Isidro Church. The funeral mass will be on Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 10:00am at the San Isidro Church with the burial to follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 12:45pm. There will be a reception at the St. Anne’s Parish following the burial.
