Jonathan Bourg

Biography

Child of God ~ no less than sun, moon & stars
Jonathan Stuart Bourg, born in 1986 began his journey in San Diego where he was born and then returned home to Taos in 1991. Jon is the Beloved son of Tad & Nancy Bourg, the brother of Carville Bourg and sister in law, Rebecca Bourg. He is survived by his loving grandmother, Mary Alice Lien of Lincoln, NE and aunts, uncles and cousins too numerous to name. Jon has been our greatest teacher in giving and receiving love unconditionally. His open heart and generous soul made a significant contribution to the Taos Country Club. We are grateful for all his friends and family who have loved, supported and guided Jon through the 29 years of his life. The family would also like to recognize those who attempted to help Jonathan. Jonathan is now free, blessing us all.
Rest in Peace. 7-28-16

Jon was a delightful 5th-grader when I knew him. I was a speech pathologist at Enos Garcia, and it was my joy to spend time with him. At that time, he loved the Boxcar Children books. He had a sense of humor that just couldn't be contained! I am so so sorry to read of his passing. This photo captures him perfectly!

Larry & Marci Cordov published a tribute .

To Tad, Nancy, Carville, Rebecca, & other family members of Jonathan:

We are deeply sorry for the loss of Jonathan. It was through our son, A.C., that we got to know Jonathan. Over the past 16 years, Jonathan and A.C. were good friends while attending The Christian Academy, while taking courses at the Roswell ENMU campus and recently while working alongside one another at The Taos Country Club. Jonathan brightened our son, A.C.'s life as his good friend. Jonathan was always so caring and kind with a sweet and loving disposition. We will cherish the fond memories we have of Jonathan. May God comfort all of you during this difficult and sorrowful time. With Our Sympathy and Condolences, Larry, Marci, Chris, Nicolas & Grandma Wilma Cordova
