Jerome F. Ortega III

Our beloved Jerome passed away unexpectedly on October 14, 2011. He is preceded in death by his father, Frank J. Ortega II, mother-in-law, Rachel Fischer, grandmother, Adelita Duarte, grandfather, Frank Ortega I, uncles, Albert Duarte, Michael Duarte, Jacob Ortega, David Ortega, and aunt, Lorena Vigil. He is survived by his loving wife, Brenda and their children, Veronica and Jacob Ortega, his mother, Glenda Ortega, sister, Amy and her husband, Fernando Morales, nephew, Keith Morales, grandparents, Eloy and Joanna Valerio, uncle, Max Valerio and family, aunt Cathy and husband Joe Amador and their family, and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Jerome was employed as an Electrician with Gil-Men for many years and later went to work for the City of Santa Fe. He was a very good husband, father, son, brother, and friend. He loved to hunt and snowmobile. He was happiest when he was surrounded by family and friends. He was a very hard worker. We love you very much. You will be missed greatly. We would like to thank family, friends and everyone for their support during this difficult time.

A rosary was held on October 20, 2011. Mass took place on October 21, 2011. Both services were held at St. Anne's Catholic Church. A reception followed at the F.O.P.

Pallbearers: Joseph Amador, Dennis Peralta, Robert Garcia, Miguel Carillo, Paul Jaramillo, and Richard Hadrill. Honorary Pallbearers: Eloy Valerio, Max Valerio, Daryl Ortega, Gary Ortega, Fernando Morales, Keith Morales and Christopher Trujillo.
