Fernando Rael

Fernando Mario Rael, 49, of Ranchos de Taos passed away on November 18, 2009. He graduated from Taos High School in 1978 and later attended T.V.I. in Albuquerque and obtained journeyman's plumber license. He enjoyed winter sports and was an excellent skier and skater. He also enjoyed camping with friends. He spent the last three months of his life at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque. He is preceded in death by his mother, Teresita Garcia Rael, grandparents Jose and Juanita Garcia and Silverio and Refugio Rael. He is survived by his father, Philip Rael, brother, Rolando Rael (Olivia), sisters, Francine Vancourt (Dan), Melissa Kingery (Daniel), Cristella Duarte (Al), Cynthia Rodriguez, and Marcella Rael, uncles, Jose Rumaldo Garcia (Cora) and Candido Garcia, aunt, Angie Sisneros and many nieces and nephews, and cousins.

Rosary was held on November 23, 2009. Mass of resurrection was held November 24, 2009. Both services were held at Our Lady of Sorrows in Arroyo Hondo. Interment was held at the Rael Cemetery in Arroyo Hondo.
