To Emma's family,
Aunt Edith and your mom were very kind to me as a little girl. It was always a joy to see her. I would marvel at her beautiful eyes. So clear and intense. She would give you these huge bear hugs when she saw you, even as an adult. I remember at my grandfather's funeral, she came up to me and gave me one those hugs--no words...just a big crushing hug. That was all she had to do -- it meant everything to me on that day. I wish I was in Taos so that I could offer the same comfort to her family. Perhaps, some day we'll meet. I remember Emma from my PNM Customer Service days. She was one of my favorite people to help. I used to tell her that her name is so beautiful. She was a nice lady and I never forgot her even now... Rest in peace Emma. God bless you.
