Elvira Romero

Services for Elvira M. Romero, 87, a loving mother, grandmother and friend, of Vadito, NM were held on July 21, 2012 the Vadito Community Center. Interment followed at the Vadito Cemetery.

Elvira was born on August 1, 1924 in Anchorage, TX and passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July 18, 2012 in Taos, NM.

She is survived by her children, Nicolas Romero and wife, Bernie, Mary Lou Romero and husband, Rudy Dominguez, Bert Romero and wife, Diana, Gloria Martinez and husband, Virgil, Jose D. Romero, Victor Romero and wife, Virginia, Gerald Romero and wife, Feliz, Lucille Chavez and husband, Rick, Janet Mancha Garcia and husband, Peter and Rudy L. Romero and wife, Jenny, 22 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Victoriano Romero, parents, Nicolas and Eulalia Mancha, granddaughter, Annette Jones and son in law, George Romero.
