I contacted him some years ago for some details about his GPS driven frequency reference and I found a great man behind the scientist.
I'm very sad today discovering of his departure.

Originally purchased some of the IC's in 2010 from Brooks as well as his latest version of software and found Brooks so very helpful in that he answered all my questions. So very sorry re your loss and the loss to all of us. Only wish I could convey my sympathies in person.
