I was David's neighbor in Taos, and we became friends. We shared an interest in movies and books, especially mysteries. My dog George the pug was a puppy when I met David, and I think he was the introduction to our frienship. I moved away from taos in 2005, but now it feels like an era is over. I will always have fond memories of David. He was one of a kind.

My husband Adam says, "Our family adopted Baggins, and inherited David". Our lives have been enriched by both David and Baggins. We will miss David very much. I know Israel will have an angel going to school with him when he enters head start this fall, I have a feeling he will be a great reader.
