Ms. O'Conner and Family. I am sorry for your loss and my prayers are with you. Cooper was a wonderful young man. He was always a pleasure to talk to. The last time I spoke to him he was seemed excited to be graduating from St. Michael's. He truely was a special young man.

Thinking back on our days in high school together has me laughing with a heavy heart. You used to make me laugh until id drool or start crying. I love you my brother, everyone loves you. Ill miss those crazy eyes emphasizing every hilarious story you've told. I'll be back in Santa Fe in two weeks. I'll meet you at the tree we carved our names into with the hammer.

The last time Coop & I chatted, he told me of his progress on his path & the diligent, albeit challenging, effort he was making. He was stoked!
He spoke about his AMAZING Mom, how he was lucky to have the kind of constant support you gave him Curly. At one point the words didn't seem to do the meaning & feeling behind them justice; he just stood there radiating deep love, gratitude, respect, trust & admiration for you Curly. We stared at each other, moved in the moment. I assured him I understood.
There is no misunderstanding truth & authenticity.
We hugged. And then, as was his custom, he wished me well. His well wishes always seemed to hold a special significance.
Keaun has this gift too, of powerful,tender blessing.
I am honored to have shared time with Coop on this tiny blue dot. I am moved by his tenderness, his depth, his ecstasy in living, his candid battles & his undeniable love for & bond with his mother & brother.
See you soon. Asking that a ceaseless flow of love fill you, Keaun, Justin & all those grievng Coop's departure...
