Dear Helen,
I wrote yesterday, but I believe that I lost the message. I had just heard about Kip from Bob Rossmiller as we are in Fairhope,Alabama, for January.
I am so sorry for you, as I have gone through it, but I fondly remember the good times, the sauna at the farm, helping him on the light-weight plane in the basement, hearing "I Want to Get You on a Slow Boat" all night long..... so many good times, and those will help you through the bad days.

How many times we remember the warmth and hospitality of Kip and Helen in Stevens Point and Plainfield. The beautifully written biography captures so well the Kip we knew. We send our sympathy to you all.

Hank and I, Chris and Nicky are so sorry to hear of Kip's death, and sorry that we didn't keep in touch enough to know he was ill. He was a very kind and generous man and we will always remember him fondly. We are holding you in the light, Helen. We're sorry if we missed the memorial service, but we'll keeping looking for info in case it hasn't happened yet.

I was sorry to hear of Kip's passing. He was a kind and gentle man. I have known Kip since I was 6 (more than 40 years ago) and I have nothing but warm memories of him. I will always remember his cheerfulness and sense of humor. My sincere condolences to Helen, Mimi and the family.
