Clarence "Bub" Frey

Clarence Bub Frey, 71, of Winterset, Iowa died Wednesday, September 28th, 2005 at Mercy Hospice in Johnston. He is survived by many nieces and nephews, and two sisters, Dorothy Porter of Altoona and Shirley Barton of Marion. He is preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Vernon, Harold Jr., Kenneth (Mort), and Galen. Bub was born August 8th, 1934 in Murray, Iowa, the son of Harold and Laura (Cook) Frey. He lived almost his entire life in Winterset and retired from the Madison County Hospital in 1993. Bub enjoyed racing go-carts, shooting pool, and of course, attending the Iowa State Fair. Bub was well known in Winterset and the surrounding area and will be missed by many.

Visitation: 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.,Thursday October 6, 2005 at Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare in Winterset, with family present during that time.

Service: 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 7, 2005 at Ochiltree Funeral Service & Aftercare.
