Cicilia Maria Torrez

Cicilia Maria Torrez, 80, of Talpa passed away after a lengthy illness on July 26, 2008. She was an active member of San Francisco de Asis Parish including helping to clean and participating in the annual renovation of the church. She is preceded in death by son, Manuel Torrez, great granddaughter, Amanda Torrez, parents, Leociado and Victoriana Duran. She is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Anselmo Torrez, son, Del Torrez (Mercy) of Talpa, daughters, Crestina Teddye Vaught (Larry) of Florida and Annette Torrez of Albuquerque, 4 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, 2 great great grandchildren, sisters, Lydia Romero (Tony) and Lilly Archuleta, nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at 7 PM at Rivera Chapel. Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at 10 AM at San Francisco de Asis Catholic Church with interment to follow at the Talpa Cemetery.
