Christina Maria Cardoza
Oct. 14,1972 - Feb.27, 2014

Christina was born and grew up in Modesto. She lived in Turlock and Hilmar also as an adult, having moved to Merced recently. She had many different jobs throughout her life. She worked for her father Tony Cardoza in high school at Cote D'oro Restaurant as a pantry person. She worked at Monterey Bay Aquarium in College. She also worked during College with her father and brother Anthony at the family flower shop "Flowers to Go".
She worked for Gallo Winery as a Lab Technician after college. Then went on to become a middle school teacher in Los Banos, CA.

She is survived by her husband, Jesse Zamora, her son Jordan Tasho, her father Tony Cardoza, her mother, Caryl Ruger, brothers, Anthony Cardoza, Danny Ruger, sisters Dannnalee Freitas and Laura Ruger. She also leaves her grandmother, Christina Slape, her aunt, Sharon Winter and uncle, Kenneth Winter.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7pm on Thursday, March 6, at Turlock Funeral Home, 425 N. Soderquist Rd. in Turlock. A funeral will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, March 7, also at Turlock Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at Turlock Memorial Park.
