Cheryl Ann Platt

Cheryl Ann Platt, 65, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away at home on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 in the loving care of her husband. Born June 22, 1952 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Cheryl spent most of her life in Albuquerque. Cheryl Attended New Mexico State University from 1971 to 1972 and the University of New Mexico from 1972 to 1973. Cheryl worked at GTE Linkert and Tijeras Rio Grande Cement from 1973 to 1988, when she became a stay-at-home mom. Daughter of the late Fred and Wilhelmina Burns, Cheryl is survived by her beloved husband of 45 years, Bob Platt and her son Robbie Platt. Following Cheryl’s wishes, there will be no memorial service and her family will spread her ashes in Hawaii at a later date.
