I first meet Bruce through Marge Blattner at SPSR. I was always amazed by his talent of taking junk and making it into something useful. He will be missed at SPSR. Joe Boyle, Past Staffer, Garden City, KS

I've known Bruce most of my life. I loved to hear the stories of the adventures he and my Dad used to have while growing up in a small town in SW Kansas. I remember Bruce as a hard-working, kind, and caring individual who loved working with people. My prayers go out to his wife, daughter, and extended family. God Bless you Bruce.

I first met Bruce at Spanish Peaks Scout Ranch about 3 yrs ago. What a talented man, he could fix anything, if he couldn't find the correct part, sometimes he would just make it. I was happy to know him. I'm sorry he is gone.

Dear family of Bruce,
I was just devastated to hear of Bruce's passing. Last year, he helped me teach english to our spanish speaking parents at Eagle Nest School. He was so generous with is time, sincere in his purpose and so wonderfully kind. That is how I will remember him. He touched my heart deeply and he left a big hole on this earth that will be hard to fill. I am sure heaven is rejoicing, though, and for that I am thankful.
My sympathies and prayers,
Marlene Pittman, teacher at ENS
