Anna Ruth Salinas

Anna Ruth Salinas, 64, of Santa Fe, passed away May 14, 2010, at 10:35pm, due to natural causes. She is preceded in death by her father Ed Chapman; brother Daniel Chapman; and sister Loris Juanita Chapman.

Anna was born on May 27, 1945, in Monroe, LA, to Relda Ortega and Ed Chapman. She married Manuel Salinas Sr. in Santa Fe, NM on May 27, 1968.

She is survived by husband Manuel L. Salinas Sr. of Santa Fe, mother Relda F. Ortega of Santa Fe, daughters, Pasty Bybee (Gilbert Valdez Sr.) of Nambe, Roberta Nylund (Mark) of Santa Fe, ReldaJo Fallis (William) of Rio Rancho, and Tammy Salinas of Santa Fe, son Manuel Salinas Jr. (Rosemary) of Glorieta, grandchildren, Robert Thompson, Gilbert Valdez Jr., Andrew Valdez, Shianne Fallis, Sierra Fallis, Keisha Salinas, Dominique Salinas, and Noah Salinas, and great-grandchildren John Salinas and Contess Rios.

A Rosary was recited on May 19, 2010. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on May 20, 2010. Both services were held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Interment followed at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
