Julia..even your comment keeps shining Alan's light and humor..the answer from one who knew..and could have dropped his suit then...but stuck around...As his oartner, Jan..lucky you..makes the loss that much harder..but Alan probably would say to you..

Alan has had a huge influence on my life, helping me to follow my purpose and be authentic. One time I was having a fight with my husband and asked Alan for a man's perspective. He replied "did you ask to be enlightened?" I answered, "yes." "And you wanted it quickly?" "Yes," I replied. "Then go in there and thank your husband for helping you out." I loved that advice and will always think of Alan as the light of love.
