Adelina (Lina) Roybal

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister went peacefully into the hands of her Lord surrounded by her children after a short sudden illness on February 19, 2012. She was born in Pecos, NM on May 8, 1939 and resided in Santa Fe.

Lina was preceded in death by her mother, Eleuteria Montano. She is survived by her sons: Jack and Chris, daughters: Cathy and Stephanie Roybal, grandchildren: Mark and Matthew Vigil and Justin Roybal and 4 great grandchildren. She had numerous brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.

Lina was a home health aide for over 40 years. She touched many lives with her huge, caring heart and loving generosity. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting and spending time with her beloved cats, Ricky and Lucy. She was a Eucharistic Minister and Choir Member of Santa Maria de la Paz. You would find our mama listening to the Spanish rosary and praying for her children. We will miss her beautiful smile and loving heart.

We love you very much mamma and you will be in our hearts forever!

A visitation and rosary were held on February 23, 2012. A funeral mass was celebrated on February 24, 2012. All services were held at Santa Maria de la Paz. Interment followed at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
