Wanda Dillon

Wanda Rael Dillon, 69, of Questa, New Mexico passed away on November 20, 2013. Wanda was born to Eusebio & Emilia Rael in 1944 in Questa. Wanda graduated from Telluride High School in 1963 in Telluride, Colorado. She worked hard all her life and passed on before her time. Wanda is preceded in death by both parents, her oldest son, Michael Todd Dillon, and more recently by her very close sister, Gloria Jean Gallegos, as well as our much loved cousin, Roger Rael. Wanda is survived by her long time companion, friend to all and stepfather, Felipe C. Ortega Jr. Wanda also leaves behind, her oldest living son, Diego (Whit) Dillon-Rael, only daughter, Luann K. Dillon-Ritchen, one and only grandson, Jacob Meyerson, also left behind is Wanda's little sister and friend, Carmen Rael, brothers, Arnold Rael and George Rael (Tina). Wanda was the glue that held the family together, all her primos, y primas and nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces will miss her greatly. All our relatives from Utah will miss her. Wanda had many friends and two sons in law who loved her, laughed with her and understood her unique and funny outlook on life, Charles C. Bent II, husband and partner to Diego W. Dillon-Rael and William (Bill) Ritchen, husband to Luann K. Dillon-Rael-Ritchen and daughter in law, Denise Dillon-Vigil.

Memorial service that was scheduled for Sunday, December 29th has been canceled, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
