Becky had a thriving business sewing, which was a passion of hers, making and repairing clothes as well as making blankets for all her children, grandchildren and friends. After caring for her grandkids and running a daycare for many years she decided to attend GED classes. She was then hired with the Town of Taos as a receptionist, a lifelong dream of hers. Becky genuinely loved going to work at the Town of Taos. During her nine years of employment with the town she met many beloved co-workers whom to this day she remembers fondly. Co-workers still kept in touch and visited way after her retirement. She has been a major part of and served her community all of her life. She belonged to the Catholic Daughters, a church organization and an active life time member and chairperson of the VFW Auxiliary and also a member of the American War Mothers Organization.
