RAMONA L. FRANCISCO

85, of Santa Fe, passed away 12/6/2012. She was born 2/4/1927 in Pena Blanca to Gregoita and Abel Leyba. Ramona married Joe R. Francisco on 4/30/1951. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband; son-in-law Chris F. Sanchez; grandchildren Chris Francisco Sanchez, Tanya Montoya and Kerry Ann; daughter-in-law Pauline Francisco; great grandson Emilio Duran.

Ramona is survived by her children: Eleanor S. Montoya (Gerald) of Santa Fe, Steve Francisco (Karen) of Dolores, CO, Marilyn Rael (Paul) of Odessa, TX, Carolyn Francisco (Roger) of Santa Fe, Abe Francisco (Nedetta) of Dolores Co, and Ron Francisco (Valerie) of Rio Rancho; brother Oliver Leyba; 19 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; nephews, nieces, cousins and many friends.
Ramona was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a lifelong devoted Catholic. The family sends a special thanks to Dr. William Leeson and the PMS Home Care staff.

A Visitation was held at Rivera Family Chapel in Santa Fe on Sunday, 12/9/12 at 3 p.m. A Rosary was recited at Santa Maria de la Paz on Sunday, 12/9/12 at 7 p.m. A Mass was celebrated on Monday, 12/10/12, at 10 a.m. Burial will be held at Summit Ridge Cemetery in Dolores, Co on Tuesday, 12/11/12, at 1 p.m.
