Patrick you know how slow and a little bit stupid I am so I just googled your name and read the heartbreaking news...I will never forget how much we laughed and the stories you used to tell me about telling your parents you were staying over a friend's house but in actuality you drove off to Texas to rodeo! You were so smart and so much fun and you had so much going for you up until your truck accident when your life veered sharply in another direction...so incredibly unfair...I love how we used to talk about horses and animals...you were such a special person and you still are and you will always have a place in my heart...I will never forget you...love always, Miss Fusco (you had other names for me but I won't share them here!)

I still have no words cousin... Only God knows how your family and friends are going to hurt & miss you in this life of struggles. But it comforts me to know that we will meet again, and that when we do, you will tell me that the smile you greet me with never left your face since the day you met the Almighty God! God bless you! I promise you that if family asks anything of me, I will be there! Please intercede for us who are still here in this world love! until then...I'm going to miss you with all of me!

Our thoughts and prayers are with Patrick's family and friends. Patrick was a sweet, wonderful guy. He spoke often of his family whom he loved. He would call us to see how we were. He also loved animals, and we gave him a small statue of a dog. Every time we saw Patrick we got a big smile and hug when we saw him and when we said goodbye. The last time we saw him was a Saturday at Devargas Mall. He said he would call us soon. My last words to Patrick were "We love you, Patrick." He said, "I love you too." Every time I open the cupboard and see the little bowl he gave us, I smile and think of Patrick. It was a joy to know him. "We love you, Patrick. We'll miss you."
