Margie M. Gonzales

Maria Margarita Gonzales “Margie” was born in Espanola, NM on August 1, 1946 and went to be with the Lord on July 11, 2018.
Margie was preceded in death by her long life partner; Rudy Mondragon, Parents; Medardo and Fransisquita Gonzales, Sisters; Mary Madrid, Sadie Morfin, Beneranda Martinez, Brother; Mariano Gonzales, Like a Daughter to Margie; Molly Martinez.

She is survived by her one and only baby “Tone”. Sons: Jerry Mondragon and wife Eileen, Roger Gonzales and wife Christy, Sister; Leonirez Chavez, Brother; Walter Gonzales, Son in Law; Johnny Martinez, Like a daughter to Margie; Shannon Martinez and husband Leon. Bingo Partner; Pilar Padilla and phone buddy; Cathy Martinez.
Grandchildren that were Margie’s world; Angelique Mondragon, Javi Reynoso, Joel Mondragon, Jamie Mondragon, Isaac Chavez, Adrianna Gonzales, Gabriella Gonzales, Sheyenne Martinez and numerous other relatives and friends that she loved dearly.

Margie was the sweetest, loving, welcoming lady you could meet. When she was young she enjoyed being a nurse and caregiver. Her family and her baby Pomeranian dog “Tone” were her pride and joy. Our dearest Margie will be missed tremendously and forever in our hearts.

A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at 6:00 PM at Rivera Family Funeral Home, Espanola, NM. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2018, 11:00 AM at the San Jose Church in Hernandez, NM with Interment to follow at the San Jose Cemetery also in Hernandez.

Serving the family as Pall bearers will be; Joel and Jaime Mondragon, Isaac Chavez, Javi Reynoso, Arnold and Gilbert Mondragon. Honorary Pall Bearers will be Margie’s Grand -daughters.
