Becky, Kathy, Marv and family, I am soooo sorry to hear of Grandma Wilson's passing. I always enjoyed when she would stop by Kathy's to say hello when I was visiting Abby. She was always sooo kind and fun to chat with. I will always have fond memories of her from growing up! I could always tell how much each of you meant to her and her to you! My thoughts and prayers are with each of you. My thoughts and prayers, Susan Shaw Vander Waal

Sorry to hear about your loss. I was blessed to have known your mother. She was always so good to me when I would play in her yard or sit on the porch and chat. I will keep your family in my prayers. May God grant you peace. Love, Joni

We are so sorry to hear of Marabelle's passing. I worked with her for years at the bank. Without a doubt she was a wonderful person. All those years she insisted that I bring the boys by for Trick or Treat, so I would make the trek into town just for Marabelle. She was just so special to me, I know you will miss her terribly.

Dear Becky, Kathy, and Marv - Having just read the item about the death of your dear mother Marabelle, I had to send a note to tell you how much your mother - and dad and the whole familly meant to me. Some of the happiest memories I have ov the short time Mac, Bill and I spent in Winterset are of the times spent with all of you. I remember the terrible winter storm when the three of us (and our big potted plant) trecked over to spend the night in front of your fireplace. How we managed to eat, laugh and play cards by candlelight is something I won't soon forget. And the time 3-year old Bill walked into your home and proceded to take apart the vacuum cleaner just as he had seen Marv do - and you-all kindly laughed while I was so appologetic about my wayward little boy. I can't remember if it was Barry or Marv who took Bill on the scooter to the Red Hen. Bill was thrilled. Your mother was precious and I feel blessed to have been fortunate enough to live next door and get to know ALL of you. My love and deepent sympathy to all of you. Carol Molison

Marv - your mother was right next door to mine and visited her when I was in Winterset in March and also in May for Mother's Day. She pointed out the pictures. She was a great lady. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.
