John Peckham

John William Peckham, 68, of Macksburg, died Tuesday, May 23, 2006 peacefully at his home after a long and courageous battle with COPD. He was preceded in death by his parents; and four sisters; Phoebe (John) Gaides, Jean (Harold) Eivins, Adoline (Orlo) Wallace and Virgina (John) Kinyon. John was born February 28, 1938 in Adair County, Iowa, the son of Bud and Lucy (Edwards) Peckham. He is survived by his wife, Dee Peckham, daughter, Barbara Peckham of Macksburg, son Bill (Alisha) Peckham of Pheonix, AZ, step-son, Mike (Julie) Jones of Los Angeles, CA, step-daughter, Pam Jones of Des Moines, and 4 grandchildren, Mitch, Jessie, Chantz and Maya.

Service: 10:30 a.m. Saturday May 27, 2006 at First United Methodist Church, Macksburg, Iowa
