Dolores M. Salazar

Dolores M. Salazar, age 76, died at her home in Santa Fe on July 5, 2011 of cancer. She was born October 26, 1934 in Taos, NM to the late Bernie and Josie Martinez. Dolores is survived by her husband of 58 years, Jimmy; son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Becky; son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Debb; daughter-in-law, Wanda; daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Eric Shelton, and her 5 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son Michael Salazar. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the healthcare professionals at New Mexico Cancer Care Association and Ambercare Hospice for their care and support during her lengthy illness.

A Rosary and Funeral Service was at St. Anne Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dolores name to the American Cancer Society or Ambercare Hospice Foundation of Belen, NM.
