El primo David era Buena gente. Every time you saw him he always had a smile on his face and was genuinely happy to see you. He made you happy! I'd see him at TSV, at the Pit and finally last Saturday @ the TSV party in Des Montes. I'll miss him.

With deepest condolences to the Chacon family. We were honored to have met your father and grandfather and have him in our lives for a short period. I know he will be greatly missed and we want you to know that he was a very special man and he served at our church New Hope Family Worship Center in Espanola, NM. David was such a bright spot in my family's life here in Taos. He rototilled the garden every year and checked on my grandma, Doris Brink and mom, Eleanor Hallstrom all the time. I have known you all my life and am grateful and honored to have known your kind, generous and helpful spirit. I am sure you have already hugged my mom and grandma in heaven. I am also honored to have graduated NMHU with Michele and I now work with her. I have always known you to be a good father, loving husband and dedicated community member. I will remember you always and will miss your bolitas and cantaloupe. Rest in peace.

It is with a heavy heart that I express to you my sincere condolences on such a wonderful man. He was such a treasure to our community and always had a smile and a good word for everyone. I will never ever forget the memories of grandpa taking me to Chacon's after school or the Bazaar's we all had so much fun doing.
