Christina Maestas

Christina Sanchez Maestas, 94 of Espanola, NM passed away on June 16, 2014.

She was born in Cebolla, NM to Octaviana and Manuel Sanchez. She married Joe Maestas in 1943.

She is preceded in death by her sisters, Josie Rivera and Pauline Gutierrez, brothers, Quentin and Marcy Sanchez, and son Luis Maestas.

She is survived by her sons, Joe Maestas, Manuel Maestas (Coco), and Ricky Maestas, daughters Josie Garcia (Patricio), Jennie Maestas, Gloria Maestas, Patricia Valdez, sisters, Mary Archuleta and Bridget Rodriguez, grandchildren, Dishayne Garcia (John Monforte), Joyce Camp (Kevin), Graciela Garcia, Patrick Valdez, Alicia Valdez, Damian Cruz, Juanita Allen, Sue Ann Chavez (Tim Chavez), Francisco Maestas, great grandchildren, Gabriel, Galicia, Seviana Monforte, Elijah Gonzales, Patrick Lee, Aryanna, Grace, Dylan Valdez, Jeffrey Martinez, Mia, Gianna, Thiago Chavez, Sean Camp and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be: John Monforte, Patrick Valdez, Jeffrey Martinez, Elijah Gonzales, Gabriel Monforte, and Patricio Garcia.

A public visitation took place on Thursday, June 19, 2014, at Rivera Family Funeral Home in Espanola, NM. A devotional Service took place on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at 10:30 am also at Rivera Family Funeral Home in Espanola, NM. Interment took place on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at 12:45 pm at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
