I have been honored to meet and get to know Ted the last 2 years while working at Octopus Car Wash in Albuquerque. I wanted to share with you some insights. He was incredibly proud of his children. He was beaming when he told me his daughter got into Pharmacy school. He makes a mean salsa too! I am grateful and honored he thought enough of me to give me a jar! I also want to express my appreciation for his sacrifices - he served his country, he served me and he died for that service. I am grateful and amazed at his dignity during the last several months. My heart goes out to the entire family for your loss. God Bless all of you and THANK YOU so much for stopping at the car wash to let me know Ted passed. I look for him every week, and worry and pray for him when he didn't come in. I will miss him and will miss hearing about the family. You are in my prayers during this difficult time.

Teddy is and will always be special in my heart. He was my big brother literally.. There is a hurt in my heart that cannot be healed.. I know how much he loved life and most especially how much he loved... I can only hope to have the grace, love, faith and forgiveness that he displayed all his life.. I love you Teddy and I will always know what I meant to you because You mean just as much and so much more.. To all Ted's Family and Friends: my greatest sympathy. Ted was a very special friend I have known since grade school. He had the most beautiful eyes and personality to match. The greatest gift we can give God is to give back what He has sent us to learn of the Love God has for us in the reflection of the way Ted loved and still loves us in the after life.
