Rheanna, I hope you are finding some comfort in knowing that your mother is at peace now. I think of her multiple times a day as I have for years but now instead of worrying, it is grieving. She made her mark on my life and I will never forget her or stop loving her. She was something else!!

Marianne,
You were so loved and will be greatly missed. You were many things to many people and I'm sure the universe will remind them of you accordingly. For me it will be when I see wind spinners blowing in the breeze, or have a sun ripened tomato from the vine. And flowers, so many flowers remind me of you Penstemon, columbines, Christmas cactus and bougainvilleas. My life was brighter with you in it. I hope you've found peace and have more puppy love than you can handle.

My heart is heavy, realizing Marianne is gone. We were close friends for 47 years. It did not matter how much time passed between seeing each other or having a conversation; we always picked up where we left off. One of my dearest friends, as well as one of the best persons I ever knew, I trust she is at peace. Love you, Marianne.

Marianne was the first friend I made after moving to Richmond in sixth grade. I remember fun slumber parties at her house, getting to go horseback riding with her and playing kick the can until it was dark. I'll always remember her big smile, her laughter and her generous heart.

I was extremely sad to hear of Marianne's passing. She was the corgi rescue person I got my Rusty boy from. I so enjoyed visiting with her over the phone and then in her home when I went to Santa Fe to pick up Rusty. She loved her corgis very much and wanted to make sure they went to good homes. She was very special.

Marianne was a woman who followed her passion and loved and believed deeply. She followed her heart and helped many corgis in the time I have known her. She will be missed.

We are so very sorry for your loss. We last spoke to Marianne in December about another corgi that she wanted David to pick up somewhere in the state. We had no idea that she had passed, we will miss her very much.
