Hattie Stone

Hattie Guptill Stone, a resident of Taos County since 1974 passed away on July 19, 2010. She was born on March 17, 1914 in Gorham, Maine. She served in the Womens Army Corp. with the Mediterranean Allied Air Force in Caserta, Italy from 1944-1945. She retired from the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland in 1974. She was the widow of James H. Stone of Washington, DC and Dunbarton, NH. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Louise Stone.

Memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 25, 2010 at 10 AM at the Meditation Temple at 26 Quintana Road in El Rito, North of Questa. Potluck luncheon will follow at Hatties.
