We were so sorry to hear of the untimely deaths of Hans and Julia. Our hearts are full of wonderful memories of all of us together. Thank God for the happiness and love we all shared. Suzanne, Larry, David, Tracy and Robbie Engman

Joyce & Roy, I am so sorry for your loss. I was unable to attend the memorial as I was volunteering at the Playhouse but I wanted you to know my thoughts were with you and your family. This brought back many fond memories of you and your family. The times we spent in Winterset during the Covered Bridge Festival and this weekend "Agnes of God" opened here in DM which I will be volunteering for again but this time I'm a House Manager. Virgil Kleinhesselink and I were reminiscing yesterday about that show. My condolences to you and your families. Sincerely, Eva

I am so sorry that I am unable to attend the memorial. We just recently moved from Winterset to Holly Lake Ranch, Texas and just have no way of getting back home. I have so many wonderful memories of both Hans and Julia that I will cherish forever in my heart. May God be with all of you as you celebrate their lives. My love and prayers are with the family.
