Gilbert R Rodriguez

Gilbert R. Rodriguez 62, A Santa Fe resident passed away with his family by his side on Monday, February 29, 2016.Gilbert is preceded in death by his parents Carolina and Sabino Rodriguez and his brother Johnny Rodriguez. He is survived by his brothers Sabino (Vicki), Paul (Tina), Leonard (Terri) Special Aunt and Uncle Lita and Ben Ortiz as well as many nieces, nephews and relatives. Gilbert worked for the New Mexico School Box Depository than went on to work for PMS as a bus driver for many years. He also enjoyed going many different casinos and all local high school sporting events. Serving as pallbearers will be Ronnie Anaya, Donnie Anaya, Artie Bransford and John Cordova. Honorary Pallbearers will be all Gilbert’s nieces and nephews. Services will be held Friday, March 4, 2016 11:00am at San Isidro Church ( Old Church) with burial to follow at the Agua Fria Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to be made in Gilbert’s name to the Rivera Family Funeral Home for his funeral expenses.
