Eliseo Borrego

Eliseo Borrego Jr., 93, of Vadito passed away on June 22, 2014 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was an Army veteran of WWII and a longtime rancher. He was a longtime teacher and principal in the Penasco School District. He is preceded in death by his wife, Rafaelita Borrego, son, Michael Borrego, grandson, Marcus Marky Lujan, parents, Eliseo and Antonita Borrego, brothers, Luis, Ernesto, Alfonso, Paul and Hoarcio Borrego. He is survived by his children; Christine Lujan and husband Orlando, Andrew Borrego and wife Vivian, grandchildren, Aundrea Valerio (Angel), Gail Borrego, Shannon (Jason) and Stacey Borrego, 4 great grandchildren, Markos, Alexy, Adam and Emilie, sister, Aurora Gurule, other relatives and friends and many others who considered him a grandfather.

Evening service was held on June 29, 2014 at Rivera Chapel in Taos. Funeral service was held on June 30, 2014 at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Dixon with interment following at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
