E. Nadine Grubbs
Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister and friend to many. Nadine Grubbs longtime resident of Santa Fe, NM was called home on Monday, June 26, 2017. Nadine was preceded in death by her husband Herman Grubbs, parents John Simpson and Mae West, brother Noble West and sister Dorothy Jean Crisp. She was also preceded by significant others Jacob Olivas and R. Henry Culver whose love and companionship brought her and the whole family great joy. Nadine was born in Reed, Oklahoma August 6, 1927. She loved life, square dancing, and games of all kinds. She worked for the Santa Fe Public Schools for over 30 years.
She is survived by her sister, Betty (Peggy) Cervantes, children Merlyn Grubbs and wife Joyce, Ricky Grubbs and wife Peggy, and Theresa Hamilton and husband Larry. Grandchildren Brandi Botelho and husband Ricky, Joshua Grubbs and wife Megan, Zachary Grubbs and fiancé Dana Thorson, Mike Hamilton and wife Christina,Larry Hamilton and wife Dru, Paul Blakemore, Shannon Bohatch and husband Kevin and 15 great grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed but now knows the hope that is Jesus Christ.
Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00pm Friday-June 30, 2017 at Rivera Family Kiva Chapel.
