Truly, one of those who you believe will live forever. Bruce was always quick with a smile and a laugh, always willing to help a friend. A real knight in shining armor to those in need of a kindred soul to share a pizza with and a cold beer to help you through the hard times of mid-terms, or finals. Bruce was the kind of guy that would share his last few drops of Boone's Farm with you to help you out of the misery of a lost love or the impending doom of a paper due tomorrow that never quite got started. I was looking forward to seeing Bruce at the next reunion and catching up on old times. He will be missed. I will get to Santa Fe and get a picture of Bruce's final resting place and I will bring the picture to homecoming. Bruce will march with us at the 45th. He will help to hold the '71 banner high. . Rest in peace, my friend. You have earned it.
My most sincere condolences to Bruce's Family. You have lost a great man.

There is a strong bond between all Norwich grads. I also was a History major class of 71 and shared classes with Bruce. Very sad to learn of his passing.

Bruce and I were classmates at Norwich University. We both lived in Dodge Hall our freshman year where we endured the mental and physical challenges of "rook" year. We spent hours together looking straight ahead while standing at attention or bracing against the corridor walls of Dodge. We marched in formation to the mess hall where we eat square meals while sitting at attention with our arms extended down our sides and a napkin held between our stomach and the table edge. We walked the gutters to classes and most everywhere else we went. We answered questions from upper classman cadre with "yes sir, no sir, or no excuse sir." I remember Bruce fondly and having a smile on his face in spite of the many challenges we faced. My sincere condolences to the Tobin family on your loss.

We were fellow history majors in Norwich class of '71 and crossed paths often before graduation. I remember him as a friendly and good humored classmate. He lived a successful life professionally and in his community and is gone too soon. My condolences to his family and friends.

I was also with Bruce as a Rook in C Company. Bruce was always a force of lightness with his quick wit, his laugh and his smile. It was a pleasure to see him a few reunions ago and missed seeing him since. After not knowing what had happened to Bruce I now know where he is. My condolences to the Tobin family.
