I was fortunate enough to work with Bonnie in 1974- 1979. I respected and admired her. We became friends. So sorry for her passing

Brian, So sorry to learn of your mom's passing but I had to let you know how much your mom helped my son when he was in high school. He was......well being Michael (talking, not paying attention..)...and your mom made him come in to have lunch with her. He did and they became friends. She touched his life, when he needed it! I didn't know about it for a long time....he said he really enjoyed sharing that time with her. She only MADE him one time...but it continued for quite awhile. You mom is very special to our son, and to us. I once sent her a Christmas Winter arrangement with a card telling her how much she touched Michale's life. She called me and we had a great chat! She was to be in our life...I'm so glad she was! Take care and always remember how much she touched her students lives...mine too! RoxAnn VanScoy Rhoads

I am so sorry for your loss, Brian. It was a privilege and pleasure to work for 35 years with your Mom. She was so proud of you. I know well the things that you will have to make decisions about as an only child. I will not be able to attend the services on Saturday because I am still in a wheelchair and have no one to accompany me. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Brian, I am so sorry to hear about your mother's passing. She helped me with Read to Rover at the Library for many years. She was also my 8th grade English teacher and I have many fond memories of her. She had such a kind heart and loved my dog, Kiowa. We had so much fun working with the kids at the library. She will always be a fond memory for me.
